Samsung appears to be preparing a successor to its low-cost Galaxy Fit band, with a set of leaks offering an early look at the Galaxy Fit 4. According to the material that has surfaced, the new tracker takes a few more styling cues from the Apple Watch than earlier models did.

The Galaxy Fit line is Samsung's cheaper alternative to the Galaxy Watch series. The devices are smaller and less advanced than a full smartwatch, but they still cover the essentials: tracking fitness activity and displaying a clock face. The most recent model, the Galaxy Fit 3, arrived in 2024, and the leaks suggest a refresh is now on the way.

The images came from The Cipher Project on Telegram and show the Galaxy Fit 4 in three colors. The hardware does not look dramatically different from the Fit 3. Even so, the two additional color options and a change to the curve of the watch band move the design a further half-step toward Apple Watch territory.

Android Authority separately found a video of the tracker. The footage shows the band mechanism as well as the sensors on the back of the device.

No launch date has been confirmed. When the Galaxy Fit 4 does arrive, it will have to compete with Google's Fitbit Edge, and pricing could be Samsung's strongest advantage. The Galaxy Fit 3 launched in the United States at $60, and it can still be bought for less than that, even though Samsung has stopped selling it directly.

The leak is the latest in a run of Samsung news. The company has begun selling "Re-Newed" Galaxy phones on Amazon starting under $500, and it is rolling out Android 17 updates to some of its most popular Galaxy phones. A separate report suggests the Galaxy S27 might drop to 8GB of RAM, while other Android phones could go back to 4GB.
