Lexus has published pricing for the 2027 TZ, its first fully electric SUV with three rows of seats. The automaker says the model is the largest and most luxurious electric SUV it has built so far, with US sales starting by the end of 2026 and European sales following in early 2027.
In the United States, the TZ will come in three trims. The entry-level TZ 450e Premium AWD starts at $64,050 and can be ordered from late 2026. The Premium Touring AWD and Luxury AWD trims are due in early 2027, priced from $72,050 and $80,550 respectively.
Two battery packs are offered, at 76.96 kWh and 95.82 kWh. The smaller one delivers an EPA-estimated range of up to 253 miles. The larger pack, used in both the Touring and Luxury trims, reaches up to 315 miles in the Touring model, while the top-priced Luxury trim is rated at 279 miles.
Every version uses an updated form of Lexus' DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive system. The dual-motor arrangement produces a combined 308 horsepower.
For charging, Lexus says the SUV can go from 10% to 80% in about 35 minutes at a rate of up to 150 kW. It has an NACS port, giving drivers access to Tesla Superchargers without needing a separate adapter.
Inside, the TZ runs the latest Lexus Interface multimedia system. It includes a 14-inch touchscreen with customizable widgets, a voice assistant, and full-screen navigation shown on the digital instrument cluster.
The vehicle measures 200.8 inches long, 78.3 inches wide and 67.1 inches tall, on a 120.1-inch wheelbase. That puts it at roughly the same size as the Hyundai IONIQ 9 and the Volvo EX90.
Lexus has also revealed prices in several European markets ahead of the official launch. In the Netherlands, the TZ will be offered as the 450e Standard Range, the 450e Long Range Executive Line and the 450e Long Range President Line. The Standard Range starts at 79,995 euros (about $90,000), a figure that includes a limited-time discount of 4,000 euros.
The European versions use the same 77 kWh and 95.8 kWh batteries. Under the WLTP test cycle, they are rated at up to 280 miles (450 km) and 338 miles (544 km) respectively.
In Spain, the TZ will start at 88,000 euros (about $99,000). Prices there rise to as much as 105,000 euros (about $118,000) for the top-specification Luxury two-tone variant.
