Apple TV has begun streaming the second season of "Where's Wanda?", its German-language dark comedy series, with the opening episode now available to viewers.

The premiere arrives nearly two years after the first season wrapped up on November 13, 2024. Apple TV renewed the show for a second season the following February, but the company did not announce a return date until July 2026. A trailer for the new episodes was released a couple of weeks before the premiere.

The series centers on the Klatt family and their search for their missing daughter. Frustrated by how local police were handling the investigation, the family chose to pursue it themselves, and in doing so they uncovered dark secrets held by their neighbors.

According to Apple TV's description of the new season, the Klatts, played by Makatsch and Stein, believed their lives were finally settling back to normal. That changes when their daughter Wanda, played by Drinda, is found apparently caught red-handed standing over a dead body.

The family must do everything possible to prove her innocence and avoid losing her again. Their hunt for the real killer leads them into the criminal underbelly of their sleepy suburban town. Apple TV's synopsis poses the central questions of the season: whether their effort to protect the family will get them out of trouble or lead them further astray, and whether they can learn what happened on that fateful day before it is too late.

The remaining seven episodes of season 2 will be released weekly, with the run concluding on December 9.

Apple TV costs $14.99 per month and is also included in the Apple One bundle. Its catalog features series and films such as Ted Lasso, Severance, The Studio, The Morning Show, Shrinking and Silo.
